AMIS celebrated its PARENT’S DAY on 21 July 2017 by giving it a whole new meaning.

Parents put in their best efforts to entertain children and delighted them immensely.  The celebration hosted a variety of programmes ranging from a group song, composed by parents themselves, to poetry and a rap song.  Some parents stole the show with their mesmerizing dance performances.  The celebration came to a close with Yamini didi’s words of appreciation for the parents.

In the words of Wordsworth, “poetry has its origin in emotions recollected in tranquility”

Poetry week was celebrated in AMIS from 10th to 14th of July. Poems in various languages were presented by children. Some of them chose to do it in groups while a few others preferred to recite them individually. Children came out with different ideas, some thought of hand made costumes, while the tiny tots relied on their parents for their beautiful costumes. Some chose long poems displaying their brilliant memory while others played safe picking the short ones. At the end of it all, some of them had started writing their own poems. It was time well spent getting to know the different poems penned by different poets !

Festival of fraternity.

The school celebrated Ramzan on the 23rd commencing with this wonderful quote: “Mane puccha khuda se tu mile ga kaha Khuda ne kaha me milunga waha neki hai jaha.” This was followed by a small skit performed by children which depicted values of sharing and caring that Eid. stands for. Dates were distributed to children on the occasion.
